Raindrops in the garden

Spring rain. I took a walk in my mother's garden to capture the delicacy of the moment.

This is a lemon flower

and this is an apple blossom that in Italy is called "mela cotogna" that is almost impossible to find in the shops. It is a pity beacuse with those apples you can make fantastic jam or yelly or a spicy cutney that in northen italy is called "mostarda" and is fantastic with your simple stew or simply with ricotta cheese and rustic home made bread.
