Tomato Sauce

My mother has prepared simple tomato sauce for the winter... for the amount she made I think we will be eating a lot of tomato sauce this coming winter.. wich is one of my favourite!

This sauce is made with tomatoes, basley, some oregano, little chopped sellery, salt and a pinch of sugar... the most simple and most delicious sauce to bring back some high summer feeling into the winter.

Amalfi end of July

Yesterday the started with some coulds to then turn into a perfect day. Here are some pitcures taken from the boat trip between Salerno and Amalfi... I have done this trip many many times but everytimes it feels like a taking a small cruise.
And collecting sea glass today was particularly rewarding as there was a big storm the night before.
